Yes, your system can operate for up to 48 hours on battery. During a power outage, the keypad will be blank until a key is pressed. To shut down the system, locate your alarm control panel, open the door, and switch the slide to OFF. When power returns, switch it back to normal.

Modern systems sync automatically with the internet time server. For legacy Concord panels, press 9, enter your master code, scroll to 'time and date,' and follow the prompts to enter the correct time and date.
