My FSUCard has stopped working at cCure card readers (other people are not having an issue with their cards), what should I do?

With age, the magnetic strip on your FSUCard can become worn, damaged, or demagnetized. You have a few options: 1. Go to the FSUCard center to ask for your card to be remagnetized. 2. If remagnetizing does not solve the issue, you can get a new FSUCard. You must turn in your damaged card to receive a new card with the same number. Failing to do so will result in a temporary loss of access (24-48 hours).

I lost my FSU card and was issued a new card at the FSU Card Center with a new number. How long will it take for my new card number to be updated in the cCure system?

It typically takes 24-48 hours for your new card number to update in the cCure Card Access System. If you require immediate updates, contact your Department’s Authorized Security Representative to submit a CRM ticket.

What is the correct way to swipe your FSUCard at a card reader door?

Swipe your card with the magnetic strip facing away from the keypad.

Our department's card reader is not working properly, who do we contact?

For cCure card readers, submit a repair ticket to the ITS Service desk by calling 644-4357 (HELP) or online. For Locknetics readers, contact the Service Center at 644-2424 or submit a facilities work order request.
