Outstanding service and professional attitude. I was thrilled to find that they filled the trench and replaced the landscape stones without me needing to lift a finger. help_outline My keypad is beeping, what does that mean?
This usually indicates some form of trouble. For systems with the alarm.com app, check there for details. For systems without app access, press *2 at the keypad to follow the prompts for troubleshooting.
help_outline I accidentally triggered the alarm, what do I do?
Remain calm. Call the monitoring service using the information on the laminated reminder card provided during system installation and inform them it’s a false alarm, giving them your account number and passcode.
help_outline My keypad says I have a low battery on my door, what do I do?
Call the monitoring service to put your system on test. Then open the sensor, check the battery type (CR2032, CR2450, CR2, or CR123) and replace it. Don't forget to open and close the door after replacement.
help_outline One of my smoke detectors went off, how do I reset it?
To reset, use the Test/Hush Button on the detector. The alarm memory will remain active until this is done or it times out between 11 to 13 hours.
help_outline Are my smoke detectors connected to my alarm system?
It varies by installation. Check the alarm.com app for sensors listed with smoke or fire in the title. Not all smoke detectors may be connected.
help_outline Why don’t I have power in my garage, kitchen, or bathroom?
The issue could be with a GFI or GFCI plug that has tripped. Look for plugs with two buttons and press the test, then reset button to restore power.
